ABOUT CEYLON NFC

Ceylon NFC is an online store in Colombo that makes tap-to-review cards, counter stands, stickers and NFC business cards for businesses across Sri Lanka. Everything we sell does one thing: it turns a phone held near a card into an open web page, with nothing installed on either side.

Why we started

Sri Lankan businesses live and die by their Google rating. A salon with forty reviews outranks one with four, and the one with four is usually not worse, it just never asked. Asking is the hard part. Nobody wants to read out a link at the counter, and a printed QR code is a poster that customers stop noticing after a week.

A card solves it by removing the typing. The customer taps, their review form opens, and the whole ask takes a sentence: tap here and leave us a review. That is the entire product.

How we work

Every tag is programmed before it leaves us. You send your Google review link, or your business name so we can find it, and the card arrives working. There is no dashboard to log into and nothing to configure, because there is nothing running on our side once the card is in your hand.

That also means there is no monthly fee. The tags we use are passive: they carry no battery, draw their power from the phone that reads them, and keep working for as long as the plastic survives. You pay once, for a physical thing.

Cards carry both NFC and a printed QR code. Every iPhone since the XR and effectively every modern Android reads NFC without an app, and the QR code covers the few that do not.

What we sell

• Google review cards and stands for counters, tables and reception desks.
• Waterproof review stickers for windows, menus and fuel pumps.
• NFC business cards, printed with your details and programmed to share them on tap.

Ordering and delivery

Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees. Payment is by bank transfer: you upload the slip at checkout, we confirm it, and the order is dispatched after that. Delivery is islandwide and usually takes one to four days from confirmation. The full terms are on our terms page.
